The first weekend of November officially marked the start of the 2026 season for Lucky Sport Cycling Team. Riders began arriving early on Friday, October 31, checking in at Hotel Kungsträdgården in central Stockholm, where the team spent two days together to launch the new season.

The weekend started with a team meeting at 13:00, where both returning and new riders gathered to meet, reconnect, and prepare for the afternoon’s press conference held in the hotel’s elegant saloon. With a handful of Swedish media present - along with two main partners - the management presented the team’s ambitions and vision for 2026.
After the presentation, riders and staff gave interviews to the media, so keep an eye on Sweden’s major news sites for coverage in the coming days.

Following the press conference, the team and partners enjoyed a mingle session before heading out for dinner at Mister French - a perfect way to round off an exciting first day together before an early night ahead of Saturday’s full schedule.

Saturday – New Bikes, New Gear, and New Goals

Saturday morning started with breakfast at the hotel before the team drove to Specialized Concept Store Stockholm for a photo shoot and bike fitting session. Riders had the chance to test out the new equipment for 2026, including helmets, shoes, and accessories, and most were able to bring home their new bikes - with just a few still waiting to be assembled.

After a few hours at Specialized, the team returned to the hotel for lunch, followed by a visit from one of our new partners, Nomio. They presented their innovative natural performance enhancer, explaining how and when to use it to optimize training and recovery. The discussion sparked genuine curiosity among the riders, who received their first Nomio bottles to begin testing ahead of the season.

The afternoon continued with a longer team meeting, where management presented the team’s vision, internal structure, and goals for 2026. Riders also got their first look at a preliminary race calendar, including several already confirmed events - a clear sign that the team’s second season will be bigger and busier than ever.

The day concluded with individual meetings, some well-earned free time, and another dinner at Mister French to celebrate the successful weekend. Early on Sunday morning, the first riders began their journeys home - with the first flight leaving as early as 05:00.

Looking Ahead

The 2026 kick-off weekend laid a solid foundation for the upcoming season - strengthening team spirit, defining clear goals, and giving everyone a shared sense of direction.

With new riders, new partners, and new ambitions, Lucky Sport Cycling Team is more motivated than ever for the 2026 season.
