Lucky Sport Cycling Team has today extended its agreement with main partner Lucky Sport.
The new agreement is valid through the 2026 season and at the same time means a reinforcement of the team’s resources for the future.

“We are very pleased that our work with the team provides us with the conditions to continue developing our long-term project. Extending the partnership with Lucky Sport is an important piece of the puzzle to take the next step,”
says Team Manager Oskar Ekman.

Lucky Sport Cycling Team was founded in December 2024 and has, during its first season, competed both nationally and internationally on the Europe Tour. The team has already secured several Swedish Championship medals and worn leader’s jerseys on the Europe Tour.

With the extension, it is clear that ambitions are being raised further. The goal is to, within a ten-year period, establish the team at the level where it is eligible for the world’s biggest races – such as the Tour de France.

Preparations for the 2026 season are already in full swing. The roster will expand from 10 to 15 riders, the organization will be strengthened, and the number of races will more than double.

“Lucky Sport Cycling Team will continue to compete on the Europe Tour, but our aim for 2026 is also to participate in higher-ranked races. With a broader squad, we will also be able to line up a U23 team, which opens the door to more races and creates better development opportunities for young riders,”
continues Oskar Ekman.

David Schwieler, CEO of Glitnor Group, on the extended collaboration:

“Glitnor Group, an award-winning, privately held company in the iGaming industry, and its consumer brand Lucky Sport are proud to be the title sponsor of the Lucky Sport Cycling Team. This year’s performances have lived up to our expectations, and together we continue to make dreams come true – both on and off the bike.”
