LuckyCasino Extends Partnership with Lucky Sport Cycling Team
After two successful seasons, LuckyCasino has confirmed that it will continue as the main partner of Lucky Sport Cycling Team in 2027. The extension enables the Swedish professional team to continue its long-term push towards the international cycling elite.
“We are incredibly pleased that LuckyCasino continues to place its trust in us. Together, we have built something that has already exceeded our expectations. This partnership gives us the opportunity to continue our journey, keep developing and take further steps towards our long-term goal: the Tour de France!” says Oskar Ekman, General Manager of Lucky Sport Cycling Team.

Founded in December 2024, Lucky Sport Cycling Team has quickly established itself on the international cycling scene. In 2026, the team took major steps forward by competing in five prestigious ProSeries races: Tro-Bro Léon, Grand Prix du Morbihan, the Tour of Denmark, the Arctic Race of Norway and the Tour of Britain.
The results soon followed. Across these races, the team secured two third-place stage finishes, two further top-10 finishes and 15th and 17th overall in the Tour of Denmark and the Tour of Britain respectively. The team also wore classification leaders’ jerseys on five race days and won the mountains classification at the Arctic Race of Norway.
These performances have shown that the Swedish team can compete with established international professional teams, marking an important step in its long-term ambition to reach the highest level of the sport.
Looking Ahead to 2027
With a new agreement in place, work continues to develop both the roster and the organisation. Ahead of 2027, the team plans to strengthen its international presence, develop its sporting organisation and create even better conditions for its riders to perform at the highest level.
“We have always had a clear plan for how we want to develop the team. Our results in 2026 show that we are on the right track, but we are far from finished. With LuckyCasino by our side, we can continue building a professional organisation and give our riders the opportunity to challenge the world’s best,” says Oskar Ekman.
LuckyCasino is equally positive about continuing the partnership.
“It has been fantastic to follow Lucky Sport Cycling Team’s development since the start. The team’s ambition, professionalism and strong team spirit are qualities we truly appreciate. We are proud to continue being part of their journey and look forward to contributing together to the future of Swedish cycling,” says David Schwieler.
The long-term goal remains unchanged: within ten years, to establish Lucky Sport Cycling Team at a level where it can be considered for some of the world’s biggest cycling races, including the Tour de France.
The extension with LuckyCasino means the project will continue in 2027, with the ambition of developing the next generation of Swedish cyclists and closing the gap to the international elite.
