Lucky Sport Cycling Team is proud to announce the signing of Peder Dahl Strand, who joins the team for the rest of the 2025 season. Peder becomes the first Norwegian rider in Lucky Sport’s history – a step that underlines the team’s continued growth and ambition.

Born October 1, 2000, Peder arrives with a wealth of experience and results across Scandinavia and Belgium. In 2025 alone, he has collected multiple victories and podiums, including:

  • 1st place – Swe Cup opener Kinnekulle Energiloppet

  • 1st place – Anundsloppet

  • 1st place – Wevelgem & Grote Prijs MHD-Filou (Pro Kermesse, Belgium)

  • Several additional wins and podiums in both Norway and Belgium

  • 10th place – Norwegian National Championships ITT

  • Tour of Norway (2.Pro) – strong performances in national team colors

In addition to his results, Peder has proven his ability to race aggressively and consistently, with strong positioning skills and tactical instincts. He brings both power and resilience, making him a valuable addition to the team as we enter our Belgian racing block.

Rider Statement – Peder Dahl Strand

“I am a 24-year-old all-rounder with a powerful engine and sharp race instincts. After missing most of 2024 due to illness, 2025 has been a real breakthrough with victories in both Scandinavia and Belgium. I thrive in demanding one-day races and technical circuits, where resilience and tactical precision are decisive. When the chance is there, I can finish it off – and when it’s not, I am fully committed to working for the team.

What sets me apart is mindset and consistency. I have shown I can overcome setbacks, deliver under pressure and stay disciplined over time. I race with integrity, respect for the sport, and commitment to the collective. Now I’m looking forward to testing myself in bigger races and proving my value in a professional environment that shares the same ambition.”

Head of Sport Erik Ekman on the Signing

“After several discussions in a short period of time, the opportunity opened up for Peder to join us for the end of the season. He will be a strong addition with plenty of experience, especially as we head into three intense weeks of racing in Belgium.

This is also a chance for Peder to show himself and for us to evaluate a possible collaboration for 2026. He is already joining the team in Izegem today and, if everything runs smoothly, will be on the start line tomorrow for a Pro Kermesse here in Belgium.”

With this addition, Lucky Sport Cycling Team gains both strength and experience as the squad takes on the final races of the season – and looks ahead to 2026 with growing ambition.
