Rider Statement – Teodor De Luca

I am a 19-year-old cyclist from Malmö, Sweden, and this season has been a big step forward in my development. Racing in Nations Cups and international stage races has given me valuable experience, and I’m excited to continue my journey with Lucky Sport Cycling Team.

I see myself as a puncheur with a strong one-minute effort and sharp race instincts, but I am also learning every day how to read races better and perform against top competition. Joining Lucky Sport gives me the opportunity to grow in a professional environment and to contribute to the team’s ambitions. I look forward to the challenges ahead and to proving myself in the races to come.

Head of Sport Erik Ekman on the Signing

Teodor is a cyclist I’ve worked closely with during my time at Svealand. He is a committed rider, a strong puncheur with an outstanding one-minute effort, but also a smart racer who has shown this year he can keep up with and beat some of Sweden’s strongest riders.

We look forward to being part of his journey and hope he can thrive and develop in our environment. This signing is another step in our commitment to young U23 talent as we prepare for 2026.

With this addition, Lucky Sport Cycling Team strengthens its U23 foundation and continues to build towards the future, entering the final races of 2025 with excitement and ambition for 2026.
